Re-Start Your Church! We have been working on a manual by
this name for some time, and we have discussed it with many
of you. Lots of interest has been shown for this type of
material.
Often, when we have plateaued in our growth, our need is to
just "back-up and punt". But, when should we "Re-Start
our Church"? Here are some reasons to "re-start" . . .
*When you have reached a plateau.
*When the excitement has gone.
*When the joy has gone from the ministry.
*When leadership doesn't lead.
*When you think it is time to move on, and it's not, and
seldom is.
We don't believe drastic changes are needed, or even can
work in most situations. What level of a "Re-Start" program
you need will be up to you, but I will assure you that if
you choose the right level it will "fire-up" you and your
church!
We once decided that our adult ministry needed a
"re-start". So, with the help of "Mr. Sunday Sunday
School", Mr. Ron Schaffer, we divided our large Auditorium
Bible Class into 32 new classes. It was work, but it was
powerful!
