FAITH PROMISE “Faith Promise” Missions Conferences are bringing revival to more churches today than anything else. After 35 years of holding these great conferences in churches that I have pastored, and in churches all across this country as well as in many foreign countries, I believe I have learned a good mission program. Try this if you don’t already do something like it: Leading up to your conference have a “Missions Month”. A - Teach 4 good Sunday School lessons on missions to every class. B - Preach one sermon a week, best done on Sunday night. C - Be intense and sincere.

Have at least 5 commitment cards printed for each person in your church. A - The week before Missions month starts, mail out a letter detailing the missions month and the conference – include a commitment card, asking them to spend much time in prayer for the conference to be a great victory and pray for their commitment. B - Pass out a card to each adult, every Sunday. Tell them that you want them to have a card everywhere they go to remind them to pray. Start the conference on Wednesday.  Many say they can’t start on Wednesday because they can’t get the people there, so they prefer to start on Sunday. Most would not find this to be so if they had taught 4 lessons and preached 4 good sermons on Missions, and communicated with letters, posters, and banners.
